Started insurance career in 1997 with the George Meyerhoff Insurance Agency. Graduate of Spruce Creek High School in 1995. Graduate of Daytona State College School of Emergency Services in 2011. Douglas resides in Port Orange, FL where he is a born and raised native of 43 years with his wife Lindsey and three children. Since 2004 Douglas has been helping educators throughout Florida plan for retirement using safe money strategies. Douglas served on the Project Oversight Committee for the Volusia County School Board and in 2006-2007 was the IFIPAC/Chair for the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, Daytona Beach Chapter, and was honored to be a past business partner of the year for Horizon Elementary School. Douglas and his family are active members at Crossroads Baptist Church and volunteers in their children's ministry. Douglas is a former open wheel race car driver with wins at Daytona International Speedway 24hr course. Today Douglas enjoys playing golf and tennis and watching his son Ashton play baseball at Spruce Creek High School and daughter dance.
